Quincy Square Museum Welcomes Back
Local Historian Sharing A New Civil War Project

Sue Greenhagen, retired librarian at Morrisville State College, returns to the Quincy Square Museum in Earlville NY, Saturday June 16 at 2PM speaking about her personal experiences as she was researching her family connections with the Civil War. Greenhagen's program last summer about a local Hubbardsville Civil War soldier using letters he sent home was very well received. This summer we will benefit from the bumps in the research road that Greenhagen found as she was searching for her family's history. Greenhagen's expertise might be very handy if you are stumped about where to look next in your own family research. Good old-fashion detective work/genealogist digging in many varied media will be discussed. Learning about the steps to begin your personal adventure looking for Civil War ancestors in your family will get you started. There will be time to speak with Greenhagen after her presentation during the reception after her program. The whole museum will be open after the program giving you an opportunity to explore our exhibits and southern Madison County history.
