How to use our museum for research

We have many scrapbooks that have been contributed by local people and families.
They tell the story of their lifetimes in newspaper clippings from their era. They show
local interests with articles pertaining to families, including weddings and death
notices, and news of the day. They have not yet been indexed, but they make great
reading and browsing. A few contain only vital statistics from early newspapers.

Our Earlville School History display has an interesting assortment of yearbooks from
1944-1970, and scrapbooks, full of school activities from 1929 through the mid-1950s.
There are many school photos, many with identification.

If you are searching for specific information, either contact a member, officer, or come
into the museum when we are open. If we don't know the answer, we may be able to
send you to the right place to find what you want. Our members are knowledgeable
about our holdings. If you are coming from a distance, contact us prior to your visit
and we will arrange to meet with you.
